Does 2 insanity points give 70% exp reduction and is that too much?

Does the mental disease spell remove insanity points or just transfer to them another player?

Should insanity points wear off over time - such as 1 per real life day?

The formula for this is as follows: ((Experience gained / insanity) - insanity)
So, if you have 2 insanity points and kill a creature that awards 80 experience points, ((80 / 2)-2) = 38
You would only gain 38 experience points from that kill.

If you're race is Luanami and you have the spell, it removes them. If you're not a Luanami, it transfers.

In fact, this is a great idea. I'll work on getting a version of this implemented. Thanks!

That insanity calculation is really bad for a level 1 player killing a 10 exp rat with 2 insanity.

10/2-2 = 3 ! or 70% drop as I mentioned earlier

Just to note.... insanity points can be attained from more than just death. As the game progresses, there will be many more ways to rid yourself of insanity points. I understand that right now it can be frustrating though.
